The Provider Quality Innovation Team at Essex County Council is committed in supporting care services to provide the best possible care for people with Dementia.
The Provider Quality Innovation team looks at themes and trends across the care sector to identify common areas where care services may be experiencing difficulties or find it challenging to meet quality standards and whole system issues.
We look to find innovative ways to provide support, using best practice examples, linking with national initiatives and working in partnership with care providers, Clinical Commissioning Groups, CQC, Community Health providers and local colleges.
Every 2 months the team produces the Quality Innovation Newsletter to keep you informed of latest news and future activity.
Our Innovation programme for Dementia has included running workshops and a range of training and acoaching sessions, as well as working with Training 2 Care to deliver the Virtual Dementia Tour, Autism Reality Experience, and Imagination Gym to care providers throughout the region, and we are now able to add the Dementia Interpreter course to this list.
